Which certificate applies depends on the product model. We do not state approvals for individual models on this site: ask us for the certificate that applies to the model you need.
ATEXThe European framework for equipment used in explosive atmospheres. ATEX-certified equipment has been assessed against it.
IECExThe international certification scheme for equipment used in explosive atmospheres, based on the IEC 60079 standards.
CSIR-CIMFRCSIR-Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research, an Indian laboratory that tests and certifies Flameproof Equipment.
PESOThe Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation, India. Its approval is commonly asked for at sites that handle petroleum and other flammable materials.
BISThe national standards body of India.
ISOInternational standards certification.
Checking a certificate before you buy
- Confirm the certificate names the exact model number you are ordering.
- Check the marking on the certificate against the hazardous-area classification of your site.
- Check that the certificate is current.
- Check the nameplate on the product when it arrives.
